Solar Business Training, Answered.

Does this count towards my SAA CPD points?
No. CPD is technical training run through accredited providers and it keeps your accreditation current, which is a separate job. This is business training: pricing, cash, systems, marketing, hiring. Owners do both, because the CPD protects the licence and the business training protects the income the licence is meant to produce.
I have run my solar business for ten years. Is this too basic?
The owners who get the most from it are usually the experienced ones, because they have the volume to fix. Ten years of quoting habits, an award you have never read properly and a charge-out rate set in a different market add up. Start with pricing and cash flow, then work outwards.
Can my sales team and installers use the training too?
Yes, and it works better when they do. A salesperson who understands why the price is the price stops discounting to close, and a lead installer who understands job cost stops treating a return visit as free. The Learning Hub sits in the Tradies App, so the whole crew can work through it.
