The week this is about

Sound Like Your Air Conditioning Business?

You only get twenty minutes at a time

Between a service call and a site measure you have a coffee and a gap. Not enough for a course, plenty for a lesson. Most business learning is built for people at a desk, so it never gets started and never gets finished.

There is nobody to ask at seven at night

A customer wants a refund on a system that is running fine. Do you fight it or wear it? Your partner has heard enough about work, and the bloke at the wholesaler has his own problems. So you decide alone and second guess it for a week.

Everything useful seems to cost money up front

You have been burned by a course that turned out to be a sales funnel, and by software you paid for and never set up. So now you sit on your hands, and another year of the same summer and the same winter goes by.

The gap between knowing your trade and knowing your business stays open for as long as it takes you to start closing it.

Questions

HVAC Business App, Answered.

Is the Tradies App really free for an air conditioning business?
Yes. The Tradies App is free with an active ABN in Australia and New Zealand. You get lessons, the members community and real business tools without paying anything. Paid options exist if you want more, including the Learning Hub at $199 a month and coaching, and nothing obliges you to take them.
Is it built for owners or for apprentices?
For owners. Everything in it assumes you carry the trading authorisation, sign the quotes, pay the wages and take the risk. Apprentice and technical training is your registered training provider's job. The app is about the business around the tools: pricing, cash, systems, marketing and team.
Does it replace my job management software?
No. Keep whatever you use to schedule jobs and raise invoices. The Tradies App is where you learn the business, use business tools such as pricing and numbers work, and talk to other trade owners. The two do different jobs, and one is free.
