Sales and client relationships
Running a simple CRM, walking into a B2B meeting with an objective, and turning finished jobs into reviews and repeat work.

Business-to-business work rewards organisation more than charisma. The tradie who wins commercial clients is usually not the best talker, they are the one who wrote down who they spoke to and when to speak to them again.
That is all a CRM has to be. One place holding every business contact, the stage they are at, cold lead, warm lead or existing client, a next follow-up date, and notes from the last conversation. Sorted and grouped by that follow-up date, it tells you who to call today without you having to remember anyone. The lessons here build exactly that, including a worked version in Asana, and cover the AI-assisted prospecting that fills it in the first place.
The rest of the topic is what happens either side of the sale. Going into a meeting or a site drop-in with one clear written objective, whether that is a name, a booked meeting or a close, so the visit has a result rather than a feeling. Using questions rather than a pitch, because what frustrates a customer about their current tradie is the pitch, in their own words. And closing the loop afterwards: automated review requests tied to job completion, which is how one electrician reached two hundred and twenty six five star reviews, and the everyday customer service that makes an upsell a recommendation rather than a sale.
