Why Greg

You speak to the owner who has already done it.

Greg built Response Electricians in Perth into a 30+ staff business with 1,950+ five-star reviews. A general manager runs it.

He has trained 9,000+ trade business owners across Australia and New Zealand.

He grew a coaching company to 35 staff, a CEO and 15 coaches, then cut it back so every owner deals with him directly.

Most coaching companies hand you to a salesperson, then to a coach who has never run a trade business. Here you get the owner.

The Academy is full because it works, and Greg keeps it small on purpose so every business gets looked at properly, by him. He reads every application himself, interviews the owners who fit and only takes on owners who are building for the right reasons and give back to the group. Join the waitlist and he'll be in touch when a place opens.

Illustration: a trade business owner standing over three office staff buried in paperwork at night.
The old way

More customers meant more people doing the computer work, and more wages nobody invoices.

Illustration: a tradesman shaking hands with a homeowner in her driveway, his phone showing jobs quoted and invoiced.
The new way

You stay with your customers and your team. The office stops landing on you.

The old way

More jobs. More paperwork. Less of the owner left.

Most trade businesses grow the same way.

More jobs means more quoting, invoicing, chasing and scheduling.

None of it gets paid for.

So the owner does it at night, after a full day on site.

Or hires an office person to do it.

The office grows. The wages grow. The margin does not.

And the owner is still the one everything waits on.

Where we take you

More work. More profit. More of you left.

The phone rings with the jobs you want, at the price you set.

You grow when you're ready, never faster than the business can carry.

Every job is priced to make money, so the busy months show up in the bank.

The best tradies in your area want to work for you, and they stay.

The chasing, the paperwork and the 9pm admin stop landing on you.

The business runs the day. You pick which parts of it you're in.

Bigger, without the headaches. Getting bigger stops meaning getting busier.

Sound familiar?

Running a trade business is lonely

You didn't start your business to spend every night quoting, every weekend worrying about cash flow, and every Monday morning wondering if your staff will show up. But here you are.

A trade business owner sitting alone in his ute at night in an empty yard, quoting on his phone long after everyone else has gone home

No one to talk to

Your partner doesn't understand margins. Your mates don't run trade businesses. You're making every decision alone, pricing, hiring, firing, quoting, with no one who gets it.

Revenue up, profit gone

You're turning over more than ever but there's nothing left at the end of the month. Wages, materials, rework and underquoted jobs are eating your margin alive.

60-plus hour weeks

On the tools all day, quoting all night, admin on weekends. The business runs on you, and you can't remember the last time you switched off without guilt.

Staff problems with no playbook

Apprentices not turning up. Tradies doing average work. Nobody ever showed you how to run a crew, so you're making it up as you go.

Expensive mistakes on repeat

Underquoting jobs. Hiring the wrong people. Saying yes to every customer. Every mistake costs thousands, and you're learning the hard way because nobody warned you.

Trapped in your own business

You can't take a holiday. You can't step off the tools. The business doesn't run without you, and the fear of it all falling apart keeps you locked in.

Who you're with

Owners who've been where you are

Every team is one trade, at one stage. Same challenges, same language, same money. What they learned the expensive way, you get the cheap way.

Same trade

They know your work

Electrical with electrical, plumbing with plumbing. Nobody needs your industry explained, so the time goes on your business, and the owner next to you has usually already fixed what you're stuck on.

Same stage

Matched to where you are

A $50K a month business and a $250K a month one need different next moves. You're with owners at your stage, so what's working for them is what works for you next.

With me

Led by someone who's done it

I built a trade business to 30-plus staff, and a general manager runs it now. You get what got me off the tools, not borrowed theory or motivational waffle.

Where it takes you

What changes once you're in a team

You stop carrying every decision on your own. The owners around you have made the same calls, and the business you're after is one they're already running.

01

Work that keeps coming

Steady work from the jobs you actually want, and growth the business can carry.

02

A crew that stays

The best tradies in your area want to work for you, and they don't leave.

03

Every job pays

You know what a job makes before you say yes, so the busy months show up in the bank.

04

Your weekends back

The business runs the day without you on the tools, and the 9pm admin stops landing on you.

Common questions

Before you apply

What if there's nobody in my trade?
We currently run teams across more than 26 trades. If we don't have an active team in your exact trade yet, we'll let you know when one opens. We never force mismatched placements, because the specificity is what makes it work.
What happens if I can't make a session?
Your group meets every fortnight, so there's breathing room. If you miss one, I'll catch you up, but the group works because people turn up, and that's part of the commitment.
How is this different from a mastermind or networking group?
Masterminds mix industries and rely on peer sharing. Tradie Teams is one trade, matched to your stage and run by me. You're not swapping opinions, you're putting in what already worked in a real trade business.
What is the time commitment?
Each session is 60 minutes on Zoom every fortnight, plus the work you put in between. That time comes back, because you stop firefighting.
How do I get in, and which group do I go in?
By application, and that's what the interview with me is for. I check trade match, stage match and mindset fit before I place anyone, because one wrong person changes the dynamic for everyone. I only take owners who are committed, disciplined and willing to learn something new. Everyone starts on the waitlist, and I invite you in when a place in the right group opens.
What else do I get access to?
Full access to the Learning Hub, weekly Business Foundations sessions with me, the private Tradies App community and quarterly business reviews with me.

Full capacity. Waitlist open.

Stop being the only one who gets it.

The Academy's full. Join the waitlist, and when a place opens I'll interview you myself: where you want the business to be, the life you want from it and what's in the way. If a group in your trade is the right move, I'll show you how we'd help and what it costs to join.
